Description
English: PIA21641: Southern Storms - This image shows Jupiter's south pole, as seen by NASA's Juno spacecraft from an altitude of 32,000 miles (52,000 kilometers). The oval features are cyclones, up to 600 miles (1,000 kilometers) in diameter. Multiple images taken with the JunoCam instrument on three separate orbits were combined to show all areas in daylight, enhanced color, and stereographic projection.
Español: Esta imagen muestra el polo sur de Júpiter, visto por la nave espacial Juno de la NASA desde una altitud de 32.000 millas (52.000 kilómetros). Las características ovales son ciclones, de hasta 600 millas (1.000 kilómetros) de diámetro. Múltiples imágenes tomadas con el instrumento JunoCam en tres órbitas separadas se combinaron para mostrar todas las áreas a la luz del día, color mejorado y proyección estereográfica.
