From Wolfram Mathworld[1], we see the following relations:

ρ^=cosϕ𝐱^+sinϕ𝐲^ϕ^=sinϕ𝐱^+cosϕ𝐲^𝐳^=𝐳^

Hence, by making 𝐱^ and 𝐲^ the subjects, we get:

𝐱^=cosϕρ^sinϕϕ^𝐲^=sinϕρ^+cosϕϕ^𝐳^=𝐳^

Which was what we wanted to show.
